I suggest you ...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

  3. Add a slack community

Add a slack community... No need for a paid version (much too expensive), but might be nice for users. Or, e.g. propose users to join the core int slack community

  5. I'd like to see using swift in an existing Objective-C project

I'd like to see using swift in an existing Objective-C project and vis versa. The inter-play of swift with Objective-C is going to be a valuable skill in the "short-term" (1-3 years). I think we all know that there is going to be a lot of Objective-C code around for a long time, and the better we are at integrating it with new projects, and refactoring existing projects with swift, we'll all be better off.

  11. Cloud Kit

the WWDC sessions from 2014 were ok, but there are gotchas in weird places. It'd be ince to see a general intro from you on CK, but in swift.

  12. Improve mediaplayer

It is super annoying that the video player you use doesnt have a thumbnail preview when seeking. For instance if I just want to get to the part where you run the code, I would be able to find it easily with a preview, but without it may take a whole bunch of attempts.

  13. How to integrate / seperate your own frameworks

Say for example you wanted to have an app revolving around images, and you wanted to pull images from social networks. How could you then make the 'social part' of the app seperate to the rest of the app and then integrate it in?

  14. Add Responsive UI Sound Effects to iOS App

This turned out to be much more difficult than expected.

Your two videos on AVAudioPlayer and Sprite Kit sound effects were very helpful to convert audio into the right format and to play it on the device, but unfortunately the sound effects are not responsive for tasks that require many taps (like keyboard clicking, fast next / previous, etc).

From what I've found, the only way to do it properly is to go down to OpenAL, which is quite complex, and I would much rather see you do it first :) Or maybe you know of a better way.

  16. Building Hybrid app with iOS and ReactNative

I am certainly hoping that you will cover above topic but i am more interested in
    1) Developing Hybrid App with ReactNative (using CocoaPods?) and iOS native code
    2) some more insights on react-native. Although I’m not sure you would divulge in scripting side..but still hoping for votes

  18. New App Update Feature/Change List Display

Following the release of iOS 7 (a while back now), new app updates are automatically completed by the App Store unless disabled. This obviously takes away the user seeing the app update and the useful new features/changes to the app.

I have seen only one implementation of functionality to show the new features/changes.

I'd love to see a video showing how to create some form of control that shows the latest updates and new features with an image/text on app launch (post update). That way you can easily keep all users up to date with what is new in the…

  19. Create a forum

Please create a forum, so users of this website can interact with eachother. I am currently implementing your BSModalPickerView in a project, and would like to discuss things with other people who are using this class. And asking questions over at Stackoverflow.com can get old real quick.

  20. Storing data to a common source and reading and writing by two different apps

Demo for storing data to a common source which can be read and updated by two different apps. This was not possible in earlier versions of ios but in ios 8.0 there are ways to do this
