I suggest you ...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

  1. Suppress "Stay Up to Date" popups for paid users who are logged in.

    I'm already logged in. You don't have to cover up your UI with an annoying/intrusive popup telling me to stay up to date. Just let me get on with watching the content I paid for.

  2. CoconutKit ViewControllerContainer

    Ran across the CoconutKit library (https://github.com/defagos/CoconutKit) recently doing some research for an iOS project I'm working on and thought it provided a number of seriously useful features.

    I'm particularly interested in the View Controller Container classes, which the CoconutKit dev writes about (at great length) here: http://subjective-objective-c.blogspot.com/2011/08/writing-high-quality-view-controller.html. Although it's a large library and I'm sure there's much more to be explored.

  3. NSManagedObjectContext syncronization in multiple threads using RestKit

    Could you please show how to synchronize both in Core Data alone and then using RestKit + Core Data, NSManagedObjectContext in different threads.
    Thanks.

  4. Change code listing format on your web pages so it will print properly

    Your recent web pages accompanying your videos show code in black boxes. When the pages are printed as PDF files via Safari, they show up as solid black boxes with no code in them. Please update your web pages so the code will print!

  8. Japanese Tax System

    Walk through of filling out the necessary 'paperwork' for the Japanese tax system. Financially this can be quite significant. I have yet to find any clean cut straight forward instructions. I can track down the forms, but what and how to submit them is atrocious.

  13. CloudKit screencast

    I'd like to see a screencast showing best practices for using CloudKit, in particular i'd like to see how it should be integrated with an existing app already utilizing core data. Thanks!

  14. Feedback - Episode # 75 - A Tale of UIScrollView Customization

    When covering the following method in the video:
    - (void)scrollViewDidScroll:(UIScrollView *)scrollView {
    ...}

    It s a bit confusing to discern the difference between scrollView reference in this line:
    CGPoint offset = scrollView.contentOffset;

    Versus the scrollView reference in this line:
    BOOL adjustDown = (!scrollingUp && self.tableView.frame.origin.y < self.scrollView.frame.size.height);

    It takes some time to figure out that its not the same object and that makes a big difference in how fast a user like myself can grasp the explanation.

    Perhaps self.scrollView could have a different name that made it more obvious that it is from the xib layout.

    Just my 2 cts.

  16. Screencast for Parallax UITableView Headers?

    There's quite a few third party parallax libraries out there, but they all have a couple of problems (dodgy scrolling, no tappable interfaces, no storyboard support, etc). It would be awesome if you could try a few out and review them. I really like how you did that with the slide-out menus. Thank you for everything!

  19. Get data from a UITableView

    I would like to see how it's possible to retrieve data within a UTableView. In particular, the tutorial would cover these aspects:

    - set up a table that contains elements like UITextFields (e.g. the table will look like a form)
    - set up a model that will be updated with inserted data
    - update the model with updated values

  20. Download, display, print PDFs

    Seems like it would fit well into a screencast.
